Wait, I JUST FINISHED the show and they have announced that KRIS ALLEN IS THE WINNER!!!!!!!
OMG I am dumbfucked. OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I’m happy and SHOCKED at the same time!!!! Cuz all along I have thought that ADAM LAMBERT should be crowned as American Idol! It will take me some time to digest this.

Let me say this again. I was expecting Adam to win, really. And it’s quite an upset that Kris won. I would rather he came in second and surpass Adam in future. I personally think that this is too much pressure on him? Even he was ABOUT TO SAY ‘Adam deserves this more than me’… But hey on the other hand, CONGRATULATIONS TO KRIS ALLEN!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! Dark horse wins the competition eh! Look at Simon’s pathetic face LOL!!!!! He was as dumbfucked as I am

So what do you know? American Idol has ended. We have embraced the dramatic and crazy season but manage to sort out the good ones from the crazy ones haha!

The show itself is quite entertaining, quite worthy of my leave and time. But I hate is the unlimited commercials only after like wad, 5 mins of airtime? OMG…. puke blood, enough already! It has gotten quite draggy towards the end. They should cut Rod Stewart’s performance.

And I KNEW IT! Didn’t I say that Danny Gokey’s voice belongs to the 80s? Look who duetted with him? Lionel Richie! Danny outsang him though but I don’t see much syncing there. Compare to Kris, I think he sync so perfectly with Keith Urban that I felt that they were almost shining! And Adam + KISS = ROCKING COOL!!! I love to see Adam on stage, I love his outfits! The frame wings were damn cool ok! Oh wait you know what, they both receive brand new Ford cars! Not something I expected but then again Ford SHOULD give them something, after the ads they have done! In fact, Ford should give everyone of the Top 8 a car!

Hottest girl award should go to Megan Joy! I love her outfits too! And I kinda like her voice although a bit of ‘pitchy’ (haha I’m starting to talk like a freakin’ judge). They have several other ‘awards’ given out, it’s just a gimmick to make the show more entertaining I guess. They invited Normund Gentle (crazy dude with sweat bands and dorky glasses), Bikini Girl (well this time is CHARCOALED Bikini Girl) and Tatiana Del Toro (fake drama queen, I hate her fakeness to the bones) to grace the stage with what they do best, definitely not singing, but entertaining nonetheless.

I was smiling with I saw the Top 13 singing all together but I can’t take my eyes off Scott MacIntyre  because he’s so funny!!! I’m not making fun of him because he’s blind!!! But he looks so EXCITED and JUMPY than the other people!! He’s just adorable in a funny way, I’m sorry it IS FUNNY, I just gotta say it, but I am no where discriminating him.

Let’s see who else were performing just now… Oh La Princessa Allison Iraheta sang with Cyndi Lauper. And I seriously think they don’t match at all. And ‘Time After Time’ is simply not the type of song that I would brand Allison @_@ What are the producers thinking? Allison’s voice is just too powerful for that song. Santana made an appearance too, swaying with his godly guitar skillz! Jason Mraz, Queen Latifah, Black Eye Peas and Steve Martin! are the few who made it on the stage and all are good.

I’m truly entertained throughout the show minus the last 1/2 hr because of the stupid long commercials. That last 1/2 hr was really really draggy. When Ryan announced Kris’ name on the envelope, I was super shocked and I still am! I need more time to digest this… Way to go Kris! But Adam is truly loved (just freakin’ LOOK at Simon’s dumbfucked face)! The most shocking elimination of all the shocking eliminations all season LOL!

Looks like I’m gonna start filling up my leave form! Kris Allen made it through!

American Idol started with the crew from Midnight at the Museum 2? Thats very weird. What’s the connection?! And next, we see Kevin Bacon, wow! And the rest of the contestants, they look very supportive too.

They were playing homecoming videos, some of them are quite funny, emotional and weird. Danny’s one has a crazy fan who wears plaid pink pants and BOA, chasing his limo, I wonder for what though. Kris’ one has grannys in green wigs with a poster which says ‘Toadly Kris’. O….K…. Adam’s one is the best because he gets a streaker in bright blue bra, COOL. He even praised her by saying, “You rock!”.

We also get a few performances by Jordin Sparks (love her dress) and Katy Perry (Elvis + Wonderwoman suit!). Katy Perry was basically pimping Adam by wearing a cape with his name on it~! OMGWTFBBQ~! Is it even legal!? It’s quite absurd I find… It’s unfair for the other two.

And after that, it’s the results, FINALLY! But I don’t like how they do it. We all knew that Adam is going through, so he should be called out first. But instead, Ryan called out Kris’ name! It was a pleasant surprise though! And in the end there isn’t anymore surprise anymore as Adam was the other one who made it through.

(happy sigh)

All in all, it’s a result worth waiting a day for ^_^. Thank you Americans for showing your love!

Now let’s anticipate what sort of songs the two finalists will sing. I also look forward for the Top 10 (or is it 13) finalists to make an appearance! OK, I’m tired, I need rest!

Firstly, I must really voice this out. The judges, ALL OF THEM, acted like kids and they look SO BAD! They look like little kids and it’s so unprofessional!!!

Back to the 3 of them, Adam rocks so much I don’t know what to say! OMG, he is really really good! I like how he reinterpreted the song, it’s very nice! But I don’t like him over-screeching in 80% of the lyrics. If he keeps using his normal voice, it would have sounded better.

I expected Kris to play his piano for Apologize but I don’t feel the excitement like I had during his earlier weeks. It was a mediocre performance I guess, again. I almost felt his nervousness cuz he was over pronouncing the words I think. I like the last part of his performance though. I hope his 2nd song is better!!!! Really really hope for him to go through, he has so much talent!

Danny’s song is a joke. I don’t like the song and I don’t like how Danny sang it (and I don’t like him). Too much force? It’s better at the beginning but like Adam, he stressed too much on his screaming. And I also agree with Simon on the sax solo, it drowns down his ‘doo-doo-dooing’ and screwed up his song.

Let’s wait for the 2nd part.
(I’m guessing Adam is getting the pimp spot again. He already gotten the pimp spot on the 1st half!)

OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGG~*!!!!! I had an orgasmic moment there, I nearly cried (I did)!!! KRIS DID WHAT HE DOES BEST!!!!! OMGGGGG!!!! YESH!!!!! I agree with the judges, I thought ‘What the heck did you choose that song?!’, it’s so not his type of songs but I JUST KNEW that he’s gonna do something to it, since it’s so bold for him to choose that song! I super super love his rendition, I love it so much, so much more than the original by Kanye West! Like Kara, I hoped he has done the same with Apologize but I guess it’s all because of time constrain because we know he has it, unlike someone else…

Danny’s 2nd song is…. very gospel… One of the judges was right. It’s very gospel. It almost sounded like a voice training song. And he didn’t have to memorize any lyrics at all because it has less than 15 words? At first I thought it started great but then it was so repetitive I was dumbfucked -_-

Adam’s 2nd song was very Adam. I think he has nothing to be criticized already. He made all the songs that he sang very Adam. He is definitely winning American Idol! I’m more excited to see who is winning the 2nd place really. Gosh I’m so excited! I’ll be trying very hard to not to spoil myself tomorrow!

When it boils down to this stage, it’s not a battle to see who is the better singer anymore. This is the battle of men’s ego! I think if Danny gets to advance to the next stage, Kris is so gonna loose it cuz he knows and everybody else knows that he is THE better one!!

Sigh… Let’s me rant a bit. I missed the 6pmm show so I’m waiting for the 8pm one. Work has been plenty and deadlines are all so close to each other. Not to mention the super common term ‘URGENT!’ Everyone’s job is urgent, everyone wants me to complete their’s first. What the heck. And I’ve been diligently avoiding all American Idol related websites (more to no time to check). I’m now waiting for Koffee with Karan to end so that they can air American Idol. Have I ever mention that I hate Koffee with Karan? It’s such a pointless show -_-

I’m gonna do some pimping on the few sites that I visit regularly since my idol fever started. They are very pimp-worthy because not only they are up-to-date but they are very fun to read.

Top Idol
I really don’t know where to start. This is absolutely my favourite site to read everyday. The news are fresh and presented in a quirky way. And it’s not always news but more to insights and out of the norm ‘news’. Take a look and you know what I mean. The most appealing factor to me is the use of nicknames on the characters like Allison is called La Princesa del Mariachi and Kris is nicknamed as Hot by Default (Woot Woot! And I’m glad she dropped the fundie boy in her later posts). This makes the contestants seems closer and more connected to the readers me thinks. She is also very opinionated and she’s a Kris supporter, yey! I’m glad that I’m not a Gokey fan or I’d be having a heart attack by now!

Gossip Candy tags Kradam
I have absolutely no idea about the existence of Kradam until this website. I am a Yaoi fan through and through but I’m not very keen on real life slash pairings. However, this site just cracks me up!! All the Kradam sightings are just incredible!!! And from that onwards, I can’t help but notice them on the show too! Mad photoshopping skillz from fans!

Woh! I just got news about Kris’ song pick from the judges. Randy was the one who chose the song for him. It’s “Apologize” by One Republic. Hmm… I wonder if it’s a good choice? It does seem to suit him I guess. And Randy has been quite nice to Kris. I’m sure Kris will work something out!

On the other hand, Paula Abdul picked “Dance Little Sister” by Terence  Trent D’Arby for Gokey. There’s still no news about Adam’s song yet.

I was too busy (working) and too excited (for Kris) to write a proper post on the American Idol Rock Week results but here I am. Tell me why Allison, who sang so beautifully, has so much packaging, lost to a croaky, SCREEECHY Danny who wears absolutely no rock outfit? The answer is simple. Danny has the cougars for voters.

I absolutely love Allison’s performance last night! It was her best! And her outfit, her hair, omg, I love her hair, everything gels together to give her a push. But sadly, her fanbase is not big enough. I must admit that she has been inconsistent. I rephrase,  her VOTES has been inconsistent but for her to be kicked out at her triumphant week is a joke. You know what’s the bigger joke? Gone-key is still in the running! What is it that Americans don’t understand? People like him can’t be an idol -_-.

I got quite teary-eyed when Allison sang her outro song. I can feel her fury, “Why me and not Danny!?”. I’m sure Allison will do well out of American Idol. Maybe Daughtry performing just now was a sign.

And what the heck is wrong for being humble?! Everyone is like bullying Kris!!! Yesterday, he was so pissed and furious, I was quite taken aback to see him like that. But what can I say? Being pair with Gokey and being bullied by Simon could send him choking himself. But I’m really really happy that he make it. And being humble is a good thing! I don’t always agree with Simon’s opinion of changing oneself for American Idol. You can ask them to change their clothing style, music related stuff but to ask them to change their personality? Screw that, Kris, you’re worth more than that! You are there because of who you are, keep it real. I’m starting to think that Simon is losing his bet on Danny cuz Kris keeps getting better

I’m on American Idol high these days after I was ‘jolted’ by Kris In actual fact, I was a Scott/Alexis/Adam supporter from their audition days but I sorta guessed he won’t last till the end. And although he’s good and I like quite a lot of his songs selection, he just don’t have that stage presence… Alexis is so rocker chic but in the end she’s not as rocker chic as I thought she would be which was quite a let down. But I was hoping she would top Anoop/Lil’ Round at least…

Anyway, I only started noticing Kris when he sang ‘Falling Slowly’. I was like, “DAMN! Why didn’t I notice him earlier!”. Frankly, I don’t follow American Idol every week. In fact, I only started chasing the series starting this season because I subscribed to Astro. After work, nothing to do, switch on TV. Eventually I began to take interest in the series and spotted a few favourites heh. Kris continued to impress me with ‘She Works Hard for The Money’ and there started my worshipping

So how did he score this week? One word: Mediocre.

If it wasn’t for Adam’s super amazing performance and Allison’s great vocals, he should be quite safe. But fear not, he’s definitely not the worst. This week’s (and in many many weeks) worst performance is DEFINITELY Danny’s. Kris was just doing his own thing. I have to admit that I dislike Gokey. He has no star power and his vocals belong to the 80s. Aside from that, I JUST DON’T LIKE HIM. This week he just top it with his fail imitation of Adam’s trademark screams. OMG… I had more respect for him, tsk tsk. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out this page for reviews and this page for the ‘awesome’ video and prepare to laugh. Seriously, I laughed so hard, I was hitting my sofa when he was nearing the end of the song.

Here’s my ratings for each of the talents:

KRIS ALLEN
Vocal - 9/10 I’m in love with his voice! It’s very soothing and it’s clear. I really like it when he makes a sudden change in his voice. How do I put it? Like how Hyde (L’arc-en-Ciel) does frequently (If you don’t know who he is, it’s hay time you google him out)
Creativity - 10/10 He is a real artist like how the judges describe him. He knows how to make a song suits him. And he knows how to make the same song sounds different but good, if not better. His renditions are all very creative and orgasmic! This part reminds me of what David Cook did to Mariah Carey’s ‘Always Be My Baby’.
Stage Presence - 5/10 There’s a reason why I only started noticing him so late ya. He has very little stage presence although when he’s performing, he’s good but he’s not memorable. He should fix his hair to be spikier, wear more fashionable clothings, ’statement clothing’, maybe not so much as Adam but more stylish like Matt would do him good. And he looks timid when he’s not performing, like he’s afraid to take it from the judges or something.
Studio recording or stage performing? I would say a little bit of both. His studio recordings are amazing! But I like to see him performing with his instruments and the band.
Best song/performance so far  My favourite would be ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ because I’m a sucker for jazz! I also love ‘Falling Slowly’ and ‘She Works Hard for the Money’. In fact, there isn’t one song that I don’t like from him.
Why should he win? If Adam has the outter package, Kris definitely wins hands down with the creativity and vocals. Plus, he’s popular with the ladies *self note: he’s married >_<, gah!* with his boyish looks. I think he would probably get much more votes if he isn’t married.

DANNY GOKEY
Vocal - 7/10 I’m not a fan of husky voices. I’m not a fan of husky voices which sing pop songs -_-. But I must say he sounds good in recordings. Good pitch and stuff. I’m not sure if it’s talent or what but he has great control on his vocals.
Creativity - 7/10 I’m giving him high marks here because his song selection hit my notes >_< (does that make sense?!) I like the beginning of ‘Stand by Me’ and hoped it would be something like that for the rest of the song but I was disappointed.
Stage Presence - 3/10 Nope. He can’t dance, he can’t play instruments, he can’t entertain the audiences. I remember his face from his glasses only. I wonder if it’s a good thing (and he owns like what, 27 pairs of them?!).
Studio recording or stage performing? Studio. I can listen to him better without his presence.
Best song/performance so far - I like his rendition of ‘Stand by Me’ and his performance of ‘Endless Love’. Although for ‘Endless Love’ he didn’t do anything but he did take away his glasses and I actually feel the song from him.
Why should he win? His fanbase is huge? I’ve read in some websites about cougars and stuff. And the judges are pawing him like gold. WTH?

ALLISON IRAHETA
Vocal - 7/10 Powerful, powerful vocals but sadly not those that I fancy. I have to admit that I don’t like female singers. Sorry, my hormones just decide it that way. Rarely would I like a female singer… But to be fair, she is very good especially at her tender age.
Creativity - 3/10 Not creative at all. Alot of times I think she’s just singing for the sake of singing without doing anything on the piece to make it ‘her own’.
Stage Presence - 8/10 I love her rocker chic look. I like her red hair! She knows how to move and to entertain people. Studio recording or stage performing? I’ll go for stage for this one cuz I prefer to see her perform as I don’t enjoy listening to her songs anyway… Sorry Allison.
Best song/performance so far  I want to point out her worst song choice, ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing’. When I first hear her sing, I went OMG cuz it’s either you’ll do REALLY REALLY good or REALLY REALLY bad, and she’s the latter one. Why? Because the song sets a very high benchmark in vocals! If you can’t surpass that, don’t freakin’ choose that song! I kept waiting for that screaming part that Steve Tyler does which is so iconic but she just mellowed it down…
Why should she win? She has great stage presence and she’s young. I believe if given time and more polishing, she will shine quite brightly. Although she might not create her own songs, but at least she wouldn’t be like wannabes such as Ashley Simpson or stuff like that, uweks.

ADAM LAMBERT
Vocal - 8/10 He can hit both high and low notes and I respect his screamings without sounding forced or pretentious. He has developed a style in his singing.
Creativity - 6/10 Fair. He can sing but his renditions of the songs are so-so.
Stage Presence - 10/10 I totally enjoy each and every one of his performances! They are energetic and entertaining! That makes his performances so fun to watch! Being in the theatrical pays off big time huh?
Studio recording or stage performing? Definitely stage. I absolutely LOVE his ‘Born to be Wild’ performance but the studio recording was ‘meh’.
Best song/performance so far I really love ‘If I Can’t Have You’. It’s different from his usual ones and it’s beautiful. ‘Born to be Wild’ for stage.
Why should he win? He has the whole package. He’s cute. He has STYLE, this is very important as an idol no? And he has mad vocals. He is a great entertainer. He’s quite flawless now that I think about it.

I’m a Kris Allen fan through and through but let’s face it, Adam has more star quality than Kris. I’ll be very happy for Kris even if he’s a runner up! *blocks all rotten cabbages and tomatoes*. So the bottom 2 would be Kris and Gokey. I LOVE YOU KRIS! Please hang on till the end!!!
